I purchased two of these (one for mattress and one for box spring) to move across town with. They are a good size and fit well, but the plastic is rather thin and will tear easily. There are handles provided on one side, but I do not know what you would use them for. If you tried to pick the mattress up by them, you would rip the plastic where the handles meet. Using these to move long distance is only recommended if you are just putting it in a UHaul then unloading it with little movement other than that. If you are getting your friends to help you move (as I did) and you expect the mattress to be in the back of someones truck or tied to someone's car, get two of these per mattress or find a sturdier one from the local moving company.

Good Product! Not as thick as I thought they would be. I bought 4, & I'll be storing 2 mattresses and 2 boxsprings in them for a while. I think they will hold up!!! I'll toss in a few moth balls just to be safe, as they will be stored for at least a year!!!

sorta thin, but i used these on my mattresses and also over my couches when i moved and they held up great down 4 flights of harlem stairs, into and out of the moving truck. great value.

I transported the mattress on top of the car. It does not serve this purpose. But for storage, I think it is a very good product.
